JanOn 2 October 2017 the Mediation Bill 2017 was signed into law by the President and the Act came into full effect on 1 January 2018. The arrival of the Mediation Act 2017 is much welcomed and should help promote the benefits of mediation and increase its use in civil litigation proceedings.
