Tim advises clients on the structuring and implementation of a wide range of financing transactions, including corporate debt facilities, property acquisition and investment facilities, cross-border financings, bridging financing, receivables financing and invoice discounting and leveraged/acquisition finance.

Tim advises clients on the structuring and implementation of a wide range of financing transactions, including corporate debt facilities, property acquisition and investment facilities, cross-border financings, bridging financing, receivables financing and invoice discounting and leveraged/acquisition finance.

Tim has represented borrowers and lenders across an extensive range of industries and sectors, including institutional and alternative lending, travel, technology, renewable energy, pharmaceutical, commercial and residential property, healthcare and telecoms.

Experience

The lender to a PRS (private residential sector) property investment fund established as an ICAV in connection with three financings for the acquisition of over 375 new-build apartments in multiple developments in west Dublin.

One of two investor lenders on the terms of bridging financing for a pharmaceutical startup involved in ongoing medical trials of a new product, including in relation to intercreditor arrangements and the interface with future loan note and equity conversion rights.

The lender to a property fund on its acquisition of a commercial retail development, the refinancing of existing pre ’63 investment properties and the subsequent acquisition of a number of pre ’63 properties

The borrower/issuer in relation to the issuance of loan notes to fund ongoing property development in South Dublin with the issuance arranged by an institutional investor acting as nominee to over 60 separate investors.

The borrower/purchaser of property to be developed as a filmmaking facility on short-term financing requirements and intra-group funding arrangements put in place to fund that purchase.
