Ross specialises in commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency, advising clients across multiple sectors and industries on dispute avoidance, alternative dispute resolution and litigation before the Irish courts. He acts for corporates, financial institutions, private equity funds and individuals in a range of contentious matters including company law applications, insolvency, enforcement and recovery, landlord and tenant disputes, intellectual property, defamation and general commercial litigation.
Commercial Litigation and Enforcement – Ross has extensive experience advising on high value enforcement and recovery actions before the High Court and Commercial Court. He acts for banks, financial institutions, receivers and liquidators in a range of applications including injunctions, bankruptcy proceedings and the enforcement of security. He has also advised on enforcement and debt recovery matters before the Circuit Court and District Court.
Insolvency and Corporate Recovery – Ross advises corporates, financial institutions and officers on a range of insolvency and corporate recovery matters, including receivership, liquidation and related litigation before the Irish courts.
Intellectual Property – Ross advises individual and corporate clients on the prosecution and protection of trade marks before the Intellectual Property Office Ireland and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
Commercial Landlord and Tenant – Ross acts for landlords and tenants in commercial lease disputes, advising on rights and obligations arising under commercial leases and under the Landlord and Tenant Acts.
General Commercial Litigation – Ross advises private companies and individuals on bringing and defending commercial claims across a broad range of matters, including breach of contract, director restriction and disqualification proceedings under the Companies Act 2014, and general company law compliance and obligations.
