David also advises businesses on legal aspects of financing, corporate reorganisations and governance. He has represented clients across a range of industries and sectors, including technology, housing, agrifood, energy and financial services.

David’s recent significant work includes advising:
- Willis Towers Watson plc in various corporate transactions, including the disposal of its commercial risk and broking business in Northern Ireland to Global Risk Partners/ABL Group.
- Norish plc (since renamed Roebuck Food Group plc) on the disposal of its UK cold stores division and return of capital by way of conversion and redenomination.
- Information Security Assurance Services Limited (ISAS) on its acquisition by Waystone.
- Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) on Irish transactions.
- Donegal Investment Group plc on corporate advisory and transactional matters.
- BAWAG Group AG on Irish corporate aspects of its acquisition of DEPFA Bank PLC and DEPFA ACS Bank DAC (both Irish authorised credit institutions) from Germany’s FMS Wertmanagement AöR, including post-transaction corporate restructuring.
- Allied Irish Banks plc on the sale of its non-branch ATM network to Brink’s International, Inc.
- Citibank N.A. and Bank of America, N.A. as joint lead arrangers and book runners in connection with a $28.5 billion senior unsecured bridge loan facility for Amgen Inc. in the acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics plc.
- Wells Fargo in providing cash confirmation advice in the debt and equity-funded €1.34bn offer by Henderson Park for Green REIT plc.
- Nomura International plc in connection with the €318m offer by Outsourcing Inc. of Japan for CPL Resources plc.
