We recognise that alternative dispute resolution is an essential aspect of our litigation and dispute resolution practice. Our clients will often prefer, where practicable, to resolve their disputes without resorting to litigation, which can be inefficient, public and costly.
Our team are experts in the arbitration process. We have detailed knowledge and experience of key international arbitration codes and excellent ties with leading arbitration centres and firms in other jurisdictions. We are well-versed in domestic and international arbitration law and our team regularly represents clients in commercial arbitrations, resolving disputes in a cost-effective, expeditious and commercially sensitive manner.
We have links to leading ADR institutions, panels and centres for excellence. We are active members of Arbitration Ireland, the Irish international arbitration association, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and the Irish Commercial Mediators Association (ICMA).
Recent work in 2021 includes the enforcement of a significant arbitral award before the Arbitration list of the High Court and defending a High Court challenge under Article 34 of UNCITRAL Model Law to an arbitral award.
