Natalie advises employers, HR professionals and senior executives in advisory, contentious and non-contentious matters across various sectors. Natalie has experience in alternative dispute resolution and assisting in litigation before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and the High Court.
Natalie joined Hayes solicitors LLP in January 2023 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2026.
Drafting and advising on employment contracts from junior to senior executive level. Drafting employment handbooks, various policy and procedure documents and advising on statutory updates to existing policy and procedure documents. Advising on the implementation of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Advising on working time, categories of workers, sick leave, data protection, longer working, remote and flexible working, holiday entitlements and holiday pay.
Drafting termination, severance, and compromise agreements for employers; advising departing employees on their rights when faced with a termination agreement.
Advising employer clients on the implementation of redundancies, collective redundancies and drafting of documentation required. Advising and negotiations for employee clients subject to redundancy.
Assisting in the defence of clients in employment equality and unfair dismissals matters before the Workplace Relations Commission. Assisting in the defence of clients in injunctive and administrative High Court matters. Assisting in the defence of clients in mediations facilitated by the Workplace Relations Commission.
