Gráinne is an associate in the Employment Law team at Hayes solicitors LLP.

Expertise

Gráinne advises domestic and international clients on transaction, advisory and contentious matters.

She regularly advises on redundancies, workplace investigations, suspensions, performance management and disciplinary procedures.

Gráinne has experience with complaints and claims before the Workplace Relations Commission, Circuit Court, and High Court.

Experience

Employment litigation – litigating on matters concerning disciplinary procedures and protected disclosures.

Employment investigations – advising HR on all aspects of investigations, including in respect of alleged behaviour, theft of company data, and breach of contractual duties.

Redundancies – advising in relation to redundancy processes and agreements

Statutory compliance and policy – including notice, working time, overtime, minimum wage requirements and protected disclosures.

Termination of employment – drafting termination/severance/compromise agreements for employers to issue to departing employees; advising departing employees on their rights when faced with a termination agreement.

Employment arrangements – drafting employment contracts, policy and procedure documents, and employee handbooks.

Employment law support for corporate transactions.
