Denise is an associate solicitor in the Commercial and Business team at Hayes solicitors. She advises clients on all aspects of data protection and privacy matters, from data sharing and data processing agreements to data protection policies.

Denise advises clients in a wide range of sectors, working with startups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, large domestic organisations and state bodies. Her expertise covers commercial contracts, including service provider, franchise and distribution agreements. She advises clients on preparation for the implementation of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – advising on privacy policies, data breach notifications, data retention and data management procedures, data access and data subject rights requests, and data protection impact assessments.

Online business – advising online terms and conditions, privacy policies, cookies policies and tracking technologies, e-privacy and direct marketing.

Data breaches – supporting clients to prepare, prevent and respond to data breaches, including liaising with the Data Protection Commission.

Due diligence – performing data protection due diligence reviews and reports.

Artificial Intelligence – advising on implementation of the European Artificial Intelligence Act.
