Expertise

Sarah is a senior associate solicitor in the Property team at Hayes solicitors. She has worked with a wide variety of clients throughout her career, and has extensive experience advising clients in relation to a broad range of transactions.

In particular, Sarah has acted for clients in relation to the purchase, sale, mortgaging and refinancing of both residential and commercial properties.

Experience

• Certificates of Title - Sarah has substantial experience reviewing title to ensure that a satisfactory Certificate of Title may be provided to her clients’ mortgage providers
• Advising clients in respect of the sale and purchase of properties with complex boundary disputes and title deficiencies
• Distressed properties  - Sarah frequently advises clients in relation to the purchase and sale of distressed properties. Sarah has experience advising clients in relation to purchases and sales where the property is being sold by a Receiver, Liquidator or by a Bank as Mortgagee in Possession
• Long term leasing - Sarah has also advised clients in relation to the long term leasing of residential property
• Sarah works closely with her colleagues in advising on and drafting commercial leases for commercial landlords and tenants
• Wills - Sarah advises clients in relation to the drafting of Wills and the creation and registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Sarah also advises clients in relation to the administration of estates.

Qualifications/Education

• BA (Hons) International, Italian Studies & Politics, University College Dublin
• Professional qualification as a solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, 2013
• Diploma in Employment Law, Law Society of Ireland
• Certificate in Conveyancing and Property Law, Law Society of Ireland.

• Member of the Law Society of Ireland
• Member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.

Other

• Sarah presents on topics of relevance both to colleagues and private parties, including talks on updates in the property sector.
