Mark Dalton - Solicitor
Mark is a newly qualified solicitor in the Commercial and Business team at Hayes solicitors, joining the firm in 2023. Since qualification, Mark has advised on a range of commercial, regulatory, and contractual issues. This includes advising clients on the areas of data protection compliance, reviewing drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising in relation to commercial and contractual disputes.

Expertise
Since joining Hayes, Mark has advised in the following areas:
- Commercial Contracts – Mark has reviewed, drafted and negotiated various commercial agreements on behalf of private clients including production agreements, clinical trial agreements and terms and conditions of sale and supply.
- Data Protection/Privacy Law - Assisted in advising clients on their general data protection obligations and their obligations in relation privacy and e-privacy matters.
- Intellectual Property – Mark has assisted clients in understanding their intellectual property rights and obligations, as well as advising on enforcing and protecting those rights.
- Contractual Disputes – Mark has assisted in advising clients in respect of complex contractual claims and disputes.
- Dispute Resolution – Mark has assisted in advising public and private clients in relation to commercial disputes, including various defamation actions.

- Professional Qualification as a solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, December 2023.
