Luke Gleeson - Senior Associate
Luke is a Senior Associate in the Healthcare team at Hayes solicitors. Luke has experience of engaging in mediation and other forms of ADR at all stages of the litigation process, achieving positive results for his clients. Luke has also successfully represented defendants at a number of trials over the course of his career.
Prior to joining Hayes, Luke worked for eight years for a highly ranked Chambers and Legal 500 UK firm in London, acting in the defence of clinical negligence claims, including high value cases involving injuries of maximum severity with complex causation issues. Luke has expertise in surgical claims and cases involving spinal injuries, brain damage, amputation, the delayed diagnosis of cancer and orthopaedic injuries.

- Birth injury cases and high value injury quantum investigations. Cauda equina claims, delay in diagnosis of cancer claims and orthopaedic injury cases.
- Secondary Victim Claims: expertise in advising on secondary victim claims, and the complexities of these cases.
- Mental Health Claims including suicide claims and false imprisonment claims. Experience in other mental health matters, including claims brought by Litigants in Person.
- GP/Dental Claims: experience of defending individual GPs and dentists acting for their MDOs and private insurers.
