Debt proceedings – advising clients in debt recovery proceedings before the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court.

Enforcement of security – advising in numerous high-profile enforcement matters before the High Court. She is experienced in enforcing security in Australia, having acted for a number of top Australian banks. Laura worked for the National Asset Management Agency assisting with the completion of large loan portfolio sales.

Professional regulatory matters –defending fitness to practise complaints and civil and criminal matters in the professional sphere. Laura has assisted in defending professional negligence actions and internal appeals to the committees of professional bodies.

Defamation – defending numerous high-value defamation cases.

Personal injury – acting in numerous personal injury cases, defending and prosecuting, concerning employers’ liability and public liability.

Data protection law – advising companies and State bodies on their obligations under the General Data protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as specific queries in respect of data access requests.

In-house experience — Laura completed a secondment in the employment litigation team of a high-profile Irish commercial bank.
