Laura is a senior associate in the Healthcare team at Hayes solicitors. Laura works in Healthcare litigation, defending clinical negligence claims on behalf of public hospitals and individual medical and dental practitioners in a variety of medical and dental scenarios.
Prior to joining Hayes, Laura practiced in the areas of product liability and personal injury, acting for clients in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.

Experience
- In her role in Hayes, Laura defends cases arising from a variety of medical and surgical scenarios such as missed or delayed diagnosis claims, nerve injury claims, surgical error claims, gynaecological and obstetric claims, orthopaedic claims and fatal injuries claims.
- Laura also advises in the defence of dental claims, including surgical error claims, chemical exposure claims, nerve injury claims and cosmetic dentistry claims.
- Laura’s work involves detailed investigation and analysis of liability and quantum and the management of proceedings from commencement to resolution.
- Laura previously assisted in the defence of product liability claims relating to medical devices and pharmaceutical products. She also has significant experience of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
