Experience
- Commercial Litigation – Laura has acted in a large cross border professional indemnity claim against a firm of accountants.
- Competition Law – Laura has represented individuals and businesses in Competition Authority investigations and has assisted clients in notifying mergers to the Competition Authority.
- Commercial contracts – Providing ongoing corporate and commercial advices to a multinational consumer goods client, which includes reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
- Advertising and Marketing – Laura is the dedicated legal advisor to the Association of Promotional Marketing Consultants and advises a large number of Ireland’s marketing and advertising agencies in relation to advertising and marketing, data protection, gambling and gaming legislation.
- Digital – Laura has assisted a client in the marketing industry with the development of a smartphone application for one of its multinational clients. Laura advised on a wide range of IT matters including terms and conditions of the application, content of the application, data protection and branding and advertising.
- Financial services – Advising one of Ireland’s largest credit unions on general commercial issues. This includes drafting and reviewing complex commercial agreements, including those concerning complex electronic funds transfers.
- Media – Laura advises The Irish Times on IT matters, including drafting terms and conditions for its websites and smartphone applications.

- Bachelor in Business and Legal Studies, University College Dublin
- Professional qualification as a solicitor (Professional and Advanced Course), Law Society of Ireland, 2008.
