Real estate finance – acts for many of the top lending institutions in Ireland, advising on and perfecting security over commercial properties.
Insolvency- acts on behalf of banks and receivers in relation to the sale of distressed assets and associated advisory work.
Inward investment – advises Irish government agencies on acquiring property as part of major inward investments by foreign enterprises.
Retail – advises retail clients in relation to the acquisition and disposal of their premises, including acting for a number of large retailers in relation to their property portfolios in Ireland. She has significant experience in advising on rent reviews and break clauses, negotiating leases, licences and concession agreements.
Logistics – advises logistic companies on acquisitions, disposals and lettings of warehousing facilities and distribution centres.
Public sector –- advises public sector clients on their property portfolios. She was selected by one public sector client to review its standard documentation, devising the standard templates that are used nationally in all of the client’s property transactions.
Telecoms – acts for telecommunications clients concerning their significant and ongoing property requirements around Ireland.
Healthcare – advises healthcare clients on the acquisition and leasing of clinics and other healthcare facilities. She also advises several lending institutions active in the healthcare/nursing home market.
Childcare – acts for childcare providers on acquisitions, disposals, and lease issues such as break options, variations, and licences.
Charities – advises Irish charities in relation to their commercial lease issues.
Professionals and partnerships – advises professionals including medical practitioners, accountants and dentists on regularising their property affairs. She advises on the property side of partnership agreements and has advised on and drafted co-ownership agreements.
Private clients – provides specialist advice on the sale and acquisition of high value and unique residential properties. Jackie’s high net-worth clients include high-profile sports and entertainment personalities.
Jackie is an active member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA). Her work on the DSBA Conveyancing Committee has involved submissions for The Law Society of Ireland which influenced how property transactions are carried out and the giving of commercial undertakings in property transactions.
Jackie regularly writes articles for professional bodies which have been published in Forum, journal of the Irish College of GPs, The Consultant, magazine of the Irish Hospital Consultants Association, and The Parchment, the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association magazine.
