- At Hayes solicitors, Deirdre has experience in the defence of clinical negligence claims including surgical errors and missed or delayed diagnosis claims.
- She assists as part of a team on high value catastrophic injury claims, which require detailed investigations into liability and quantum.
- Deirdre has experience in High Court Plaintiff medical negligence actions including claims relating to oncology, gynaecological and obstetric injuries, general surgical errors and fatal injury claims.
- She has advised clients in personal injuries actions arising from accidents at work, road traffic accidents and public liability claims.
- She has experience in product liability litigation involving actions taken by patients who received DePuy ‘ASR’ hip implants which were the subject of a global recall in 2010 due to a defect in the product.
