Catherine Jane O’Rourke is a Solicitor on the Banking and Financial Services team at Hayes Solicitors. Experience

  • Catherine focuses on transactional banking, including all the main clearing and lending banks (Bank of Ireland, AIB, and Ulster Bank), NAMA, direct lenders, corporates, SMEs, partnerships (including limited liability partnerships) and individuals on a broad range of domestic and multi-jurisdictional secured lending transactions across many sectors such as real estate, childcare, waste, retail, quantity surveying, music and entertainment, sports clubs, security, technology/software, pharmaceuticals etc.  
  • Acquisition finance: Catherine has acted for her clients in the acquisition of target companies in order to expand their business in many sectors.
  • Commercial property finance: Catherine frequently advises clients in respect of commercial property transactions and works closely with the Hayes Property Team.
  • Development/Construction finance: Catherine is experienced in the area of development and construction finance and has acted on a range of deals involving the financing of the development of rural, sub-urban and urban mixed-use schemes on greenfield sites to the expansion of existing schemes on a phased basis around the country.
  • Catherine also advises clients in the areas of invoice discounting and on commercial agreements and is particularly interested in international limited liability partnerships.

  • Postgraduate Diploma in law, Dublin Institute of Technology, 2011
  • Professional qualification as a solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, 2016
