Print & Display appealed the decision of the High Court to the Court of Appeal. Hayes defended a liquidator in an action by a shareholder of a company to remove him in a long running complex liquidation of a company with foreign subsidiaries and assets.

The High Court has recently delivered judgment in a case involving an international litigant which misinterpreted Irish legal procedures with potentially damaging consequences.
