The partners at Hayes were delighted to host our annual International Women’s Day breakfast meeting at The Westbury Hotel on Friday, 6 March 2020. The theme this year is: Each for Equal - An equal world is an enabled world.
We were joined by special guest speaker Hayley Barnard, specialist in Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace. She is the Managing Partner and Lead Strategist at MIX Diversity Developers and is a board level advisor to many national and global organisations.
Hayley has worked locally with the government on the Gender Pay Gap. She provided a briefing at Leinster House on the lessons learnt from the introduction of the Gender Pay Gap legislation in the UK in advance of the Gender Pay Gap Information Bill in Ireland alongside Leo Varadkar.
Hayley also headed up the LeasePlan Women’s Arctic Challenge in which she co-led a team of women on a traverse of Baffin Island at minus 40 degrees. In October 2019, she successfully swam across the English Channel.
