Sinéad Ní Raghallaigh - Solicitor

Sinéad is a Solicitor in the Healthcare team at Hayes Solicitors. Sinéad advises clinical practitioners and indemnity bodies in respect of the defence of medical and dental negligence claims. 

Prior to joining Hayes solicitors, Sinéad trained with a large Legal 500 and Chambers ranked firm in Dublin. Sinéad obtained a first-class honour in her Masters in Healthcare Ethics and Law from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. With a particular interest in dental negligence, Sinéad achieved a first-class grade in her thesis ‘The Increase in Dental Complaints and Negligence Claims – the Root of the Problem.’

Experience

  • Medical negligence litigation – Sinéad advises in the defence of medical negligence claims, including the mistreatment of orthopaedic injuries, surgical mistakes, misdiagnosis, and delay in diagnosis. These clinical negligence claims involve detailed liability and quantum investigation and analysis.
  • Dental negligence litigation – Sinéad advises in the defence of dental negligence claims including the misdiagnosis and delay in dental treatment, informed consent and record keeping.
