Ruth has worked with Hayes solicitors LLP for six years, gaining significant experience as an intern before completing her traineeship and qualifying in as a solicitor in 2025.
Experience
- Ruth advises clinicans in the defence of regulatory and disciplinary proceedings. She has supported practitioners at all stages of fitness-to-practise proceedings, covering a range of allegations relating to conduct, competency and health matters.
- Ruth assists in the defence of a range of medical negligence claims to include claims for catastrophic birth injuries, vaccine injuries, alleged surgical mistakes, and claims alleging delay in diagnosis.
- Ruth has assisted in the defence of dental negligence claims, including claims alleging surgical errors, misdiagnosis and delay in dental treatment.
- Ruth has experience in the area of medical product liability in relation to pharmaceutical and medical devices.
- Ruth also has experience in healthcare advisory matters, providing guidance on regulatory compliance, data protection, consent and risk management for healthcare professionals and organisations.

- Certificate in Introduction to Sports Law, Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland, 2024.
- Professional qualification as a Solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, 2025.
