Leyna Redmond - Legal Executive
Leyna joined Hayes in 2018 and is a Legal Executive in the Healthcare team having previously worked within the Commercial team in Hayes. She works closely with the team in assisting in medical negligence claims including high value catastrophic injury cases. She assists both the Partners and the Healthcare team in the area of medical defence litigation.

Experience
- Leyna began her career in general practice in 2016 and has a diverse range of legal experience working in large/mid-size and small law firms specialising in litigation since 2016.
- Prior to working in Hayes, Leyna managed a large portfolio of RTA cases together with criminal, conveyancing, probate and family law matters, liaising with clients, solicitors, experts, insurance companies and engineers. Previous to this, she worked in a busy well-regarded practice where she assisted solicitors in preparation of court hearings in the Circuit and High Court and was responsible for liaising with clients and counsel.
- She now assists with high value catastrophic injury cases as well as a wide range of other medical negligence actions against public hospitals, private medical Consultants and General Practitioners.

- Diploma in Professional Legal Studies, Independent College Dublin, 2019
