Experience
- Medical negligence litigation – Evan works in an assistant capacity on high value catastrophic claims including gynaecological and obstetric claims, claims arising from surgical mistakes and misdiagnosis or delay in diagnosis. Evan also has experience in dealing with claims arising from birth injuries.
- Dental negligence litigation – Evan advises in the defence of dental negligence claims, including surgical errors, misdiagnosis and delay in dental treatment and claims relating to informed consent and record keeping.
- Product liability – Evan has experience in the area of product liability particularly in relation to pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
- Evan contributes to a team handling high value catastrophic injury cases. This includes in-depth investigations into liability issues and complex medico-legal opinions, as well as forensic analysis of detailed schedules of special damages.
- Evan has gained experience of managing a portfolio of High Court and Circuit Court claims arising from a wide variety of medical and dental injuries.
- Evan has gained experience in advising hospitals and medical practitioners at Inquests before the Coroner’s Court.
