To mark International Women’s Day in a meaningful way, we were delighted to have Breast Cancer Ireland present to our staff on Breast Cancer Awareness. The talk included important information on Breast Cancer and included a practical demonstration on how to self examine with examples given of signs and symptoms to look for.
We were pleased to bring such an important topic to our staff during the week of International Women’s Day as we learned through the research of Breast Cancer Ireland that currently 1 in 9 women will be affected by Breast Cancer in their lifetime.
Ahead of the talk Hayes solicitors were proud to host a coffee morning fundraiser in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland where staff gathered over baked goods, teas and coffees. The charity are pioneers of research programmes nationally, as well as promoting education and awareness on the importance of good breast health and these funds will go to further progress this cause.
It was a significant day of learning and gathering in unity for a great cause for Breast Cancer Ireland and International Women’s Day.
