Mark Collins - Solicitor

Mark is a solicitor in the Commercial & Business Law team in Hayes solicitors.

Mark advises on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on contract law cases, enforcement and recovery actions, and personal injury litigation acting for a variety of private companies, financial institutions and State Bodies, mainly in the High Court and the Commercial Court.

Mark also advises clients on a wide range of general commercial matters, including data protection, intellectual property and the review and drafting of commercial contracts.

Mark joined the firm as a trainee in 2015 and qualified in 2017.

  • Commercial contracts – Mark provides ongoing corporate and commercial advices which includes the review and drafting of commercial contracts.
  • Enforcement of security – Mark has acted in a number of high profile enforcement matters before the High Court.
  • Receiverships – Mark has advised on a number of receiverships and related court proceedings.
  • Debt Proceedings – Mark advises clients in relation to debt recovery proceedings before the District Court, Circuit Court and High Court.
  • Personal Injuries – Mark regularly represents the State Claims Agency in respect of Employer/ Public Liability claims.
  • Data protection law – Mark advises companies and State bodies on general data protection queries, as well as the specific issues which may arise.

  • Master of Science in International Management, Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, Spain, 2013
  • Postgraduate Diploma in law, Dublin Institute of Technology, 2014
  • Professional qualification as a solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, 2017
