Jamie is a Solicitor in the Employment Law team at Hayes Solicitors.

Jamie advises both employers and employees, in relation to contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including contracts of employment, workplace policies, workplace investigations, statutory compliance, redundancies and dismissals.

Jamie joined the firm as a trainee and qualified as a Solicitor in 2018.

  • Disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, suspensions, disciplinary hearings, appeals, dismissals and termination of employment.
  • Statutory compliance including payment of wages, working time, notice periods, maternity leave, whistleblowing, redundancy, fixed term and part time workers, data protection and equality.
  • Workplace policies and procedures including bullying and harassment, data protection, whistleblowing, internet and email usage, grievance and disciplinary procedures. 
  • Review and drafting of contracts of employment.
  • Employment disputes and litigation.

Qualifications/Education

  • Bachelor of Arts, Economics & Sociology, University College Dublin, 2009
  • Masters in Common Law, University College Dublin, 2011
  • Professional  Certificate in Financial Advice, University College Dublin, 2013
  • Professional qualification as a solicitor, Law Society of Ireland, 2018
  • Currently completing the Advanced Diploma in Applied Employment Law, The Honourable Society of King’s Inns
