Fiona Agbi - Legal Executive

Fiona is a Legal Executive in the Healthcare team at Hayes Solicitors. She works primarily in the area of medical defence litigation, working alongside partners defending high value clinical negligence claims taken against hospitals as well as individual medical practitioners. She advises clinical practitioners and their indemnity bodies on the defence of high value and complex medical negligence claims.

Prior to joining the Healthcare team, Fiona spent a number of years in a general practice where she has handled an extensive case load of personal injury litigation, medical negligence and commercial litigation claims. She has a strong litigation background and extensive experience in various aspects of High Court civil litigation. She liaises with clients and experts, prepares cases both for settlement discussions and trial, and assists in running the cases at trial. She also advises clients on liability, causation and quantum.

Qualifications/Education

  • Diploma in Legal studies, DIT Aungier Street, Dublin
